John Deere Happy Birthday Card!!

Happy Easter Everyone,
I hope you all are having an amazing Easter out there with your Family!! So excited about today!! Easter means a lot to me because of the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for you and me. His shed blood allowed me to be free from my sins! I know sometimes I go thru things and don't understand why I'm going thru them and I'm anguishing because I'm going thru it, but I will never ever know what Jesus went thru to become that sacrifice. When you put it into perspective, what I or other people in the world are going thru, nothing could ever compare to what he went thru willingly that day. Jesus and God loves us so much and on that cross they showed us just how much they love us! I'm so thankful Jesus is in my life!!  I know that he is not dead but that He has Risen and that he is in me and you!!

Here's a project I completed 9/16/2011.  This was my sister's birthday and she loves John Deere,
so I decided to make a John Deere card. Originally, I was making a barn and a small John Deere tractor, but it was just to much to do in such a little amount of time. I had told my 2 year old Niece Hailey and lol she told her mom I was making her a barn. Hailey thought it was her birthday though it was too cute!! She kept telling my sister it was her birthday and that she had a Dora Cake.

I handmade the little John Deere Tractor because I didn't have a cartridge at the time that had a tractor on it. The fonts were on Gypsy Wanderings and Plantin School book. And I used the Martha Stewart doily lace punch. I just loved the inside sentiment. Thanks for taking the time to view my card!! I hope you enjoyed it!! Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!! Happy Easter!!

Hello Bloggers,

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Good Friday!! Here's a card I completed 9/10/2011. My Pink Stamper sent out a request for 1600 breast cancer cards for a breakfast that someone was hosting that September, so I made a card.

For the Breast Cancer Card, I decided to make a bear boxer. I put Fight like a Girl.

Twinkle toes cartridges for the background.
Plantin Schoolbook for the font
Some Swarvoski Crystal bling for the i's

Thanks for taking the time to view this card! If you get the chance and have time please create some cards for these lovely strong courageous women!!

Thank You Baptism Card!!

Hey Everyone,

Here is a Thank you card for my Pastor Michael, who baptised us. I completed this card 8/27/2011.
I went to Hobby Lobby and found the cute brown paper with words on it. I then coordinated the card around those colors!! I swiss dotted a layer and then inked the edges in brown. I ran the cross thru the cuttlebug using a swirl folder. Then added some bling to the middle. The second image is the inside part of the card and I just used the pieces that were cut out before, then inked the edges.
Recipe:
Indie Art for the cross
Cuttlebug swiss dots
Cuttlebug swirls
Swarvoski crystal bling
brown ribbon

I hope you all enjoy this card!! I loved how it turned out!!  Love you guys and have a blessed night!!

Baptism Card for my Dad!!

Hey Everyone,
Today I'm sharing a card I completed on 8/14/2011. That Sunday my Dad and I both got baptised outside at a lake. : ) You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful night and setting!! I was excited to be able to confess in front of the people that Jesus is first in my life. I also told a bit about my walk with God over the past two years and how he helped me to lose 133 pounds. I know that it couldn't have happened without him by my side helping me each step of the way.

I thought that I needed to make a card for my dad because he was getting baptised too so, that day after church I hurried and put together a card. It turned out very beautiful!! At Church, I also snuck and bought him a shirt so, I could surprise him after he was baptised.

The cross was made using Indie Art and I used the cuttlebug diamond plate folder on it!! (Which made it look really cool) I also used the swiss dot folder for the background.
Then I used Home Accents for the Faith!!
Since it's been about a year and half since we got baptised, I can tell you that my dad keeps that card in his bible and every week I see him pull it out.

I hope you enjoyed the project!! Thanks for viewing my blog and adding me!!

Thank You Card!!

 c

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone out there is doing good today? I'm doing pretty fantastic here!! So today I'm sharing a card I completed 7/23/2011. I made it for one of my dad's bosses. I truly believe she is an angel on Earth. She is always giving and helping people in need. It seems as if when we are in need of something she knows, but yet we didn't tell her. I hope everyone of you has someone like that in your life, or you try to be that someone to others. Giving is such a powerful thing and such a selfless act.
She adores dogs, so I decided I would make a thank you card incorporating dogs.
I used different shades of browns with the cardstock. I also swiss dotted a layer in the cuttlebug. I also cut out little paw prints on every corner. And the dog is a little tear puppy that I handmade. I used my Martha Stewart punch. I used ribbons with little doggy bones on it. On the dog I made a collar and put a little swarvoski crystal dangling to make it look like a dog tag!! When we gave it to her she loved it and said she was going to frame it and put it on her wall. It felt great to make her a card because she's always giving. I know the card is nothing compared to what she has did, but it was my way of showing her that we appreciate everything she has did. Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!! I hope you enjoyed the card!!

Pirate Birthday Card!

Hello Bloggers,

So I've been going back and showing projects I've completed in 2011. This one was completed 7/13/2011. I made this Pirate Card for my 7 year old Nephew's Birthday!! He is just too cute and I love him so much. My sister and I got him a Pirates of the Caribbean game for his birthday, so I decided to go with a pirate theme card.
I think it turned out so super cute. He's a tear bear. LoL I loved the little peg leg. It ended up being a really tall card, but I had to do it to fit the pirate on there. Then I dotted the I in Gavin with a skull I thought it was a cute pirate touch. I chalked most of the stuff to give it that dirty pirate look.

Recipe:
Happy Birthday is the Gypsy wanderings cart
Gavin is the Platin Schoolbook font
The skull is from Indie Art Cartridge
Pirate is handmade and chalked by me

I hope you all enjoyed the project. And thanks for looking!!

Getting out of Your Comfort Zone!!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Hello Bloggers,

I hope everyone is having a great day today!! Over the past few days, I have been getting out of my comfort zone in several different things. God directed my path and wanted me to get out of my comfort zone. Let me tell you it was hard. Several things I was afraid to do and yet he said to lean on him and trust him, so I decided ok I'll try. Several times I was seriously scared and yet I took that leap of faith and jumped. I have to say that I am so relieved, now that I did. It also didn't seem as bad once I jumped. Sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone in order to receive the things that God wants you to have. He pushes you because he knows that you can do it. Let me tell you don't ever let fear come into your life because that just limits God and the things that he can do in your life. I was tempted many times this week to let fear come in and speak it out loud. But I held in that fear and I fought it as hard as I could. I feel as if I passed several tests this week and though I don't see immediate results, I know and can be confident that the victory is on it's way right now.
So I'm asking if you are going through difficult times right now and your struggling with something turn it over to God. He can do amazing things with that situation, you just have to hand it to him and have faith that he will do something with it. And though you maybe completely scared about it, don't voice that fear outloud. You just need to find some faith scriptures and speak those aloud. And watch God do amazing things in your life. So get out of your comfort zone and into the Faith zone!!

Tinkerbell Birthday Card!

Hey Everyone,

How's Everyone doing today? Here's another card that I completed 6/26/2011. I made this card for my brother's girlfriend.  At first I couldn't think of what I wanted to make, but once I saw Tinkerbell I had an idea. I could make a cupcake and it looks like she's putting pixie dust on the cupcake. Originally, I had the cupcake with a candle on it, but I didn't like it. So I put a cherry on top and added sprinkles.

Recipe:
Gypsy Wanderings for Birthday Sentiment and Cupcake
Tinkerbell and Friends Cartridge for Tinkerbell
Sizzix embossing folder
Swarvoski Crystal Bling
ribbons
glitter

Father's Day Project for my brother and Brother in Law!!

Hey Everyone,

Here is the Father's Day Project I made for my brother and brother in law. It was completed 6/20/2011. My dad's project took so long  and I finished it the Friday before Father's Day. Then on Saturday night, I put together my brother's layout. I started my brother in law's that night, but couldn't finish it so, I got up early the next day to finish his layout. I thought I got up at 7:15 and it was really 6:15.  I looked at the clock wrong! I finished it five minutes before we left for Church. LoL I guess I like to work under pressure sometimes. Later on, I put some blue swarvoski crystals on them and put them in frames.
I was worried about printing my nieces feet because last month for the Mother's Day project, she didn't want her hands stamped. So she was all excited about getting her feet stamped and they turned out great. Then after we stamped her feet she lifted her shirt and said she wanted to do her belly. LoL She is just too cute and funny!!   I was worried about my nephew's feet as well fitting because he's got some big feet. Ha Ha. Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog and adding me!!

May God Bless you and your day!!

God's Protection!!

For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands. (Psalm 91:11-12)

Hey Everyone,

So not last night, but the night before my brother got in a motorcycle wreck after he got off work. My brother and his fiancee loaned her van to my sister because she didn't have a car to drive. The car my brother was driving something happened to it the night before, so my dad and him were going to look at the car on my brother's next day off. And my brother's fiancee needed a vehicle so, she had my brother's truck. It was cold outside, but he had no choice, but to drive his bike to work.
After work, he was on the road leading to main highway. He said the back brakes locked up and the bike went down on the throttle side, so he was giving it more gas. He got thrown from the bike and did several flips banging his head. He hdd a Helmet though.
After, hearing the story there are so many ways I see God's protection. First, my brother wasn't injured, he was only sore  and scratched up a little. Another, was he wasn't on the interstate when it happened , which  means he wasn't going to fast. Another, was he was bundled up because it was cold outside and his friend Colby had loaned him a Carhartt coat to keep him warm on his ride home. Because he was bundled up, he didn't get as many scratches as he could have. He also had on his helmet. His friend Colby saw the wreck and let my brother sit in his car with him, till my dad got there.
My dad said he left the house at 11:30 and didn't get back to his house till 3:00. I'm always so amazed at what my dad does for the family. So he got up yesterday at 6:00 in the morning to go to work.

I talked to my brother yesterday and he was just sore and upset that he wrecked. It was his first wreck and he's had the bike since 2007. I was just happy to hear he was fine, so I didn't care about what the bike looked like. My brother ended up going to work yesterday despite the wreck. He's so strong! I'm so thankful that God had had angels protecting my brother that night.

Father's Day Project!!

Hebrews 12:7
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?

Hey Everyone,

I have another older Project to share with you guys today. This project was completed 6/17/2011. It was a Father's Day project for my dad. It took me about a month to complete the project for my dad. When I initially started the project it was going to be a motorcycle card. My dad has a big dog chopper and he loves it, so I wanted to make a card with the motorcycle on it. LoL once I got started though it turned out way bigger than I anticipated, so I made it and framed it for him. I started probably the week after Mother's Day and I just completed it few days before Father's Day!!
I have to say, I have always had a creative mind and imagination, but I know in my heart that I could not be making these projects without God touching my hands with his creativity. While doing this project, I was blown away at how it was turning out and in the end how it came out. Never in a million years would I have thought I could have did that. Nor would I have been able too if it wasn't for God.

When making it I only used the cricut for the circle wheel shape and the inner wheels I cut out a pattern on the Indie Art cartridge. Then I used an xacto knife to make the diamond shape pattern. I wanted to add some bling to the bike to make it pop, so I used some Swarvoski crystals on the tail light and blinker and a crystal element for the headlight. And for the background I used the Diamond plate Cuttlebug folder.

Since it's after Father's Day, I can tell you my dad's reaction. He was awed and I think a bit speechless. He asked how I did it? And when I said Happy's Father's Day he said Happy Father's Day back like he was still in unbelief. So it was a pretty meaningful gift !!

I am also so very thankful to the ultimate Father God!! I love him so much and know that I wouldn't be who I am today without him, leading me and guiding me. I am so thankful for all the things he has been doing in my life the past couple of years. I know that sometimes I want out of certain situations and pray to get out of them. Though, when I look back a few months after those situations, I'm a better person for having went through them. They teach me and help me grow into the person that I am today. I know sometimes I need to let go and just trust my Father God to do what he wants to do in my life. He really does know what is best for me. So Thanks God for all that you have did, are doing, and going to do in my life.

I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I have!! Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!

God supplies your needs!

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phillipians 4:19)

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all are having a pleasant morning!! I'm looking out the window as I'm typing this and I'm looking at the beautiful Sun shining thru the trees. I'm so excited about tomorrow officially being spring!! Yay!!! I love spring time with all the pretty pink trees with flowers and flowers blooming. I was uptown the other day and noticed the pink flowers starting to bloom on the trees. I love seeing that!! The trees in the winter are so blah!
Today I wanted to share something amazing that God did a year ago today. I was going thru a  rough patch financially. My mom wanted to go to a mall in a town near by so, I went with her. As we were walking thru the food court in the Mall she said there's Chad. I looked around, looking for my brother Chad, but never saw him. Then she goes ' no there and there's Chad the Alltell guy.' We saw him and he gave us an envelope with $45 in it. I was excited because God's grace had supplied money for a need that I had at the time. Later on after examination, I realized that was definitely God's hand at work because I normally wouldn't be there. I normally only go to that mall once or twice a year. It was a real cool blessing!! If you have a need or you are struggling thru something hand it over to God because his grace is sufficient!!  Thanks for taking the time to view my blog.

Support our Troops Card!

Hey Everyone,

How's it going out there today?? I hope everything is going well!! Today I'm showing yet another project. This is another National Scrapbook Day Challenge. This one was completed 5/7/2011. The challenge was to create a troops card. I whipped it together real quick. As you can see I kind of cut the letters to big, so they aren't exactly fitting to my card. : (
I didn't feel the card when I originally made it because I was in a hurry, so I went back and put some Army clothes on the bear because he looked naked. I hand cut out all the little camo pieces to make the pants and the hat. I added a green shirt and I had already had the silver dog tags. I hope you like my card! Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!!

Turtle Purse!!

Hello Bloggers,

I hope you guys are having a fantastic Sunday out there. It's been raining here!! But I like the rain sometimes it's just soothing to listen to the rain and hear cars drive by making that swishing noise. Ok I have another old project to show you. It's another MyPinkstamper National Scrapbook Day Challenge. It was Completed 5/7/2011. The challenge was to make a 3D project.

It's a turtle Purse with flowers in it. I just loved how the turtle turned out. I put little hearts on the inside of the shell to add a cute little touch. I ended up giving it to my sister because she loves turtles. I inked the flowers to give them dimension.

I used the Walk in my Garden Cartridge for the flowers. Plantin School book cartridge for the purse. And cute little turtle with the Winnie the Pooh cartridge. I also used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch. I hope you enjoyed this 3D project. Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!! : )

Mother's Day Project!!

Hey Everyone,
This is a project that I completed 5/7/2011 for my sister for Mother's Day!! Another My pinkstamper National Scrapbook challenge.  I watch my Niece all the time and I wanted to do something special for  my sister for Mother's Day. So I used the cricut and cut out the big border using the home accents cartridge. And then had my Niece dip her hands in pink paint. My niece really didn't like the dipping and doing her hands part. I then printed out a poem. It says
I miss you when we're not together
I'm growing up so fast
See how big I've gotten
Since you saw me Last?
As I grow, I'll change a lot,
THe years will fly right by.
You'll wonder how I grow so quick
when and where and why?
So Look upon these hand prints
That's hanging on your wall.
And memories will come back of me,
When I was very Small.
I got a frame for it and framed it and put some swarvoski crystals on it before I put it in the frame. I hope that you like this project and it inspires you. Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!! : )

If you are following me or new to the blog I have been going back and reviewing past projects, so I can get my projects in the order that I created them. So this was completed 5/7/2012. This was created for a Mypinkstamper challenge for National Scrapbook day.
I used the Gypsy Wanderings for this card!! I loved the little scallopped circle!! So cute! Then I created a pink cupcake with sprinkles and a cherry on top. In the middle I have a green stripe that has been punched with the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch! Then added a ribbon! I have yet to use this card, but I'm thinking I might add like You are sweet phrase to the front or maybe just use it for a Happy Birthday card!! I hope you guys enjoyed this card!! Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!!

Mother's Day Card!

Hey Everyone,

Today I'm showing you a Mother's Day Card I completed 5/7/2011. I wanted some cute girly colors for the card, so I chose pinks and purples. I loved how the flowers turned out The flowers to me look like hibiscus and I love hibiscus because of the multiple colors they are. So I inked them to make them more dimensional like the real flower. This whole card was cut using the Storybook Cricut Cartridge. I entered this card in a National Scrapbook Challenge that Mypinkstamper.com was having that day. One of the challenges was to make something for Mother's Day. I hope you enjoyed this card!! Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!

Thanks a Bunch!!

Hello Bloggers,

Today I'm going to show you the third card I have ever created. I created two other cards one for my mom's birthday and a thank you one for a friend, but I never got a picture of the two. : (  This Card was completed April 12, 2011. My last post was the Christmas Scrapbook page that I completed in December 2008. I didn't work on anything scrapbook related from the end of 2008 till April 2011. I babysitted my Niece Hailey and just didn't get the oppourtunity to do anything till then.
When I first started making cards, I really didn't think I would like making them, but once I got use to making them I made a lot.
I made this card for my sister and brother in law. My sister went out that March and bought me a cricut gypsy. I use it all the time and it really comes in handy. They also took me to see Disney on Ice with my Niece. I had a blast and I wanted to make a card to show them how much I appreciated what they do for me. : )
This card was made using the Pooh Cricut Cartridge and the phrase and the flowers where cut using the Walk in the Garden Cricut Cartridge. Along the bottom edge I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch!! I hope you guy enjoyed the card! Thanks for taking the time to view my blog!!

Christmas Scrapbook Layout!!

Hello Everyone,

Here's my last Scrapbook layout that I created in 2008. I completed this one December 29th 2008.
It features a little log cabin house that I hand chalked and inked. This was my first tear bear animal layout that I ever created. I have a little tear bear looking out the window and you can see the little Christmas tree in the background. The house has snow and icicles all over and it has cute little Christmas lights.  I have Santa peeking out of the chimney waving.
On the other side of the scrapbook pages I have some reindeers playing in the snow trying to build a snowman with some squirrels and a rabbit. One of the reindeers being Rudolph with his red nose. : )
I hope you enjoyed this scrapbook layout. Thanks for taking the time to view my blog and feel free to add any comments. Thanks. : )

Breast Cancer Scrapbook Page!

Hello Bloggers,

We are taking a journey back to my first creations and here is another layout from October 2008. I completed this one October 28th 2008. My Sister was due this day and went in to be induced, so it doesn't have that much detail because it was sort of thrown together. My printer was messing up too and kept putting lines thru all the words so, some of it I had to use an ink pen or marker.

I created this layout in Honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In the layout, there are four bears. One is a bear wearing a gold medal and to me this represented the Survivor. She won the battle and got the medal. Another bear is wearing a pink lab coat and she has beckers and vials. This bear represented a scientist trying to find the cure for Breast Cancer. So this bear to me represented Hope that they would find a cure for Breast Cancer. Another bear was one that was wearing a t-shirt saying Walking for Breast Cancer. She to me was a bear that had Breast Cancer, but was using all her strength to keep going and trying to fight it. She represented Strength to keep going in the face of adversity. The last bear was a boxer bear that was fighting Breast Cancer and had the courage to keep going. This bear represented Courage to keep going and continue fighting. Courage is the ability to fight something that frightens someone. Or strength in the face of pain or grief.

Thank you for taking the time to view my layout. If you are dealing with Breast Cancer continue the good fight of faith believing that God can heal you.
Thanks.

Halloween Scrapbook Layout!!

Hello Everyone,

Here is my second Halloween Layout that I completed October 9th 2008. This layout happens to be my absolute favorite one that I have did so far. I just loved the little train. I made a little girl dressed as a witch driving a train and then I had ghosts and Frankenstein riding in the pumpkins. Frankenstein to me looks so cute because he looks like he's getting sick. I also liked the flower wheels such a cute little touch. I made a train depot in the background with a ghost waiting for his train. Then a little bear conductor telling them to board the train. As you can see the layouts seem to be getting better with time. I hope you enjoyed this layout! Thanks for view my blog!!

Halloween Scrapbook Layout!!

Hey Everyone,

My First Scrapbook layout was the Easter one and I didn't make any scrapbook layouts between March 25 and beginning of September 2008 because I was babysitting my nephew. This Scrapbook layout was completed September 29 2008. It features a Frankenstein, Dracula, Cat, Bats, and a cute little witch. I loved how the little witch cauldron turned out. Once again this layout was all cut out and pieced by me without the cricut. Thanks for taking the time to view my layout!!

Baby Bracelets!!

Hello Bloggers,

I hope you are having a fantastic Friday out there!! I'm having a spectacular Friday today!! : ) Ok today I am sharing another project I did years ago. This one I completed around Sept 28 2009. My sister's baby shower was that day and these bracelets where my gift to her. Like I mentioned before beads where my first art medium that I used. I mainly used seed beads, but sometimes I did something different. This however was my first time using alphabet beads and my first time making baby name bracelets. I saw bracelets like this somewhere and thought it would be so cute to make for my sister and my niece Hailey, so I got to work. My niece was due on October 28th, so I picked pink as the swarvoski crystal color and lol she's a girl. She however, was a stubborn little booger and didn't come till November 5th, via c-section. She's a cutie and I love her so much!!
I used swarvoski crystals and then stardust silver balls and everything is sterling silver. I love the cute little dangly things at the bottom. I hope you enjoyed the bracelets!! Thanks for taking the time to view my projects!!
